Hi All!

It's been 20 years since our initiation to UCSC. How the time flies. It is indeed time to meet again so join us for SlugFest 2006!

When & Where?
UCSC & The East Field House have graciously allowed us to use their large East Field on Saturday September 9, 2006 at 12pm. This day is the Saturday after the Labor Day weekend. There will be a stage, sound system, live music by your

friends, SlugRockers, with some revivals from the past! No required pass is needed to get on campus during the day and parking is FREE on the weekends.

Food & Drinks
In typical UCSC fashion, we will have a BBQ with chicken, burgers & garden burgers. As many of you may know, alcohol is not permitted on East Field or on the campus in general; therefore, we cannot provide beer, wine or any alcohol. We will,

however, provide water & soda.

Families & Friends
The event is open to you, your family and your friends. As you all know, this is a large field with plenty of space to run around, so bring any sports equipment, tents and games for the kids. For a small fee, your family gets access to the UCSC pool and facilities. Access by alumni is FREE.

Parking
Parking is FREE and just a stones throw away in East Remote parking lot or at the East Field House parking area.

Any profits will go to the OPERS Department at UCSC, supporting Physical Education, Recreation & Sports.

SlugFest 2006 is open to those on the Invite List, their families and friends. Help us spread the word and Tell A Friend about SlugFest 2006. To assure enough food is available, please take a moment and RSVP here. Don't forget swim trunks, sun tan lotion, and musical instruments!
